On April 4th, the IBSF board hosted a kitchen shower benefitting the Light School at Ishahayi and the Ife Oluwa Primary School at Lekki. The Lagos community turned out for a festive coffee morning, party games and social time together.
Our wonderful supporters stepped up (once again!) by donating food, plastic storage containers, dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, bleach, and cleaning aids. These items will be such a tremendous help in equipping the kitchens at these two schools. With these donations, the schools will have the tools they need to prepare hot school lunches daily and keep their facilities clean. Thanks to all those who attended or sent items in their place–your generosity is so appreciated!
