Our foundation operates with the help of many dedicated volunteers and is organised by the following board members:
Lynsey Elston
Chairperson
Lynsey moved to Nigeria in late 2014. She is a Business in owner in Nigeria. Having always been active in volunteer work, she continued this passion in Nigeria. There are many important causes but she believes that the root of everything is education and therefor chose to focus her efforts in this area. She joined the board as a community liaison and then took over as chairperson. Being very immersed in the Nigerian community she brings a well rounded perspective to the board.
Anita Senan
Education Director
Anita is a science graduate with a master’s diploma in Montessori education. As the founder and chairperson of Serving Hands Society for the Empowerment of Less Privileged Persons, Anita has dedicated over 20 years to working with charitable organizations across several African countries. With more than 12 years of experience at IBSF, Anita has demonstrated a commitment to social impact and empowerment. Currently, they also serve as a counselor and spiritual healer, further contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities.
Namrata Dadlani
Treasurer
Namrata moved to Lagos in 2019. She is the director of Industries 365 and she held former roles including, but not limited to, a consultant at Deloitte and Touche, and a managing consultant for JBS International. Before moving to Nigeria, she lived in the United States and Australia. She has a long history of charity work and was an active member in the Junior League. Namrata believes that giving back to the community is paramount, and that education is essential to all.
