Our Mission
At Shining Light Beach School, our mission is to provide quality education and essential resources to the children of Ishahayi, a small fishing village located on the barrier island between Lagos and Badagry. With the support of our foundation, we are dedicated to empowering young minds and fostering a brighter future for our community.
What We Do
The Shining Light Beach School Foundation plays a pivotal role in supporting the school by:
- Providing salaries for teachers.
- Supplying textbooks and uniforms to students.
- Ensuring access to essential facilities such as our library and computer room.
- Maintaining and operating our unique school bus boat, which safely transports students to and from school.
Our school currently consists of two buildings, with boarding facilities for 23 students. As we continue to grow, we are working towards the construction of a third building to accommodate our expanding student body.
